Family Mediation

Family Mediation is an out of court procedure dealing with non-violent conflicts that may arise between members of a family or of a group of people living together. The intervention of specialised professionals, who have no powers of decision-making in the conflict, helps people to communicate, to talk and to negotiate with each other. The aim is to encourage them to act on the decisions they have agreed between themselves regarding such conflict. Section 2.1 of the Spanish Family Mediation Act 1/2009.
